Weather station

Hardware

This amateur weather station consists of a Davis Vantage Pro 2 Pro weather unit which includes display console, anemometer, wind vane, rain gauge, thermo-hydro sensor, UV and solar sensors situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible and data is sent to the console every 2.5 seconds. An Axis 211 IP camera is used to record and display current skyline images looking in a south easterly direction.

Data from the station is collected by a windows 7 computer using Weather Display software and weatherlink IP interface.

Software

Weather Display is the primary station software ran on the computer data is sent to the website every 1-5 minutes.
